Fall Pictures

So this is my first fall living in St George and I have to say it is WAAYYY prettier than Las Vegas!!! So I took H***** to get some pictures done at the park. It was so gorgeous there and she loved playing with all the leaves. She's such a cute girl! (And I'm also in love with the colorful background in these!)

Friday

Zion

A couple weeks ago we drove up to Zion National Park to take the kids out hiking. Here's a picture from that trip.

Wednesday

Hair Cut

So last Thursday, my daughter decided to give herself a new hair cut. She cut it short...and I cried!!! Luckily my friend Ashley could fix it for us. I'm letting you see the before and after. The first is from Halloween-the last picture she has before she cut it all off, and then today, with the new do....

And for the contest, you only have a few more days to vote. I will be taking it off on Friday night. Thanks to everyone who has participated!

My New Website

I'm so excited about my new website. I've been slowing working on it forever and can never get ir perfect. So I finally decided just to let you all see it now. Just know that it's not done and I will still be tweaking things.

And when you are done, come back here a let me know what you think!

Photo Callenge

So the photo challenge (by Red Rock Studios) this last week was "color." I had so many ideas, and never had a chance to do any of them. So with the help of my sister in law, we rounded up all the "polnailish" in the house and painted each fingernail and toenail of my daughter's a different color.

And this was how she acted most of the time while I was trying to take pictures, seriously!
And here's another of her cute toes.

Monday

Photo Callenge

So another photographer has a weekly challenge on her blog and I decided to participate. The challenge for this week was "night time" (no flash). So this is what I decided to do. This is the LDS Temple in St. George, UT. They locked the gates right when we got there, so I had to stick my camera through the gate and take the picture. I even layed on the ground to get this shot and risked being eaten alive by cockroaches, GROSS! But it was worth it.

Wednesday

My kids

Here's a sweet moment I caught between my kids.

My new toy!

So this arrived at my door last Friday. I was so excited, I told Kenny it was like Christmas. It's just the camera base (I already had the lens). I can't wait to play with it more, and I'll share with you when I do.

Thanks Kenny, you are such a WONDERFUL husband!

Tuesday

Practicing

So I decided I wanted to try and get better light in people's eyes. So I just praticed with a few different people, and a few different places. My focus was completely on the eyes. Thanks to all you who let me take a few minutes and stick a camera in your face. I appreciate it a ton!!! And for those of you reading, I'd LOVE to hear your opinions. Even if you don't have an account with blogger, you can still leave a comment. Thanks!

Thursday

Hailey

Here's my pretty little girl. We went out to take some pictures of her for springtime. She had lots of fun, and it let me get some practice with different areas around St. George.

Friday

My Grandma

I was so lucky to be able to take her picture because we only got to be with eachother a few hours. She is one of the most caring woman and we all love her and are greatful for everything that she does. I just don't like that she's on the other side of the country, but thank goodness for technology these days. Here's to you grandma, I love you!

Rolfe Family Pictures

"Our family had the opportunity to go to Disneyland for Christmas, thanks to some amazing parents. While we were there we decided, kind of last minute, to do some family pictures. Here are a few of the ones I really enjoyed. There are a couple more posted in my galleries..."

Thursday

I'm Switching

I have decided to change my blog around a little bit. Blogger is a more user friendly website than what I am currently using, and I don't want to spend hours and hours just trying to figure out a website. I want to use that time for improving myself as a photographer. So in the next few weeks I will try to get everything transferred over, and to catch up. I am pretty far behind. I hope you all enjoy the pictures that will soon be here....
